| International Kendo Federation
FIK is composed of National Kendo Federations, each of which exclusively represents the nation/region in Kendo. At the time of establishment, 17 countries/regions were affiliated with FIK. As of July 2003, 44 countries/regions are FIK affiliates. FIK is a non-political and friendly organization and its purpose is to propagate and develop Kendo, Iaido and Jodo internationally and to foster the mutual trust and friendship among the affiliates. The headquarters of FIK is located in the office of All Japan Kendo Federation in Tokyo, Japan.

The All United States Kendo Federation (AUSKF) is recognized by the International Kendo Federation (IKF) as the governing body of Kendo in the United States. The AUSKF strives to be an inclusive organization dedicated to the promotion of Kendo throughout the United States. | Pacific Northwest Kendo Federation
The Pacific Northwest Kendo Federation (PNKF) is the official organization for Kendo in the Northwest United States. The PNKF's goal is to promote the practice and study of the martial art of Japanese sword fencing known as Kendo and Japanese swordsmanship known as Iaido.
The PNKF is made up of local Kendo and Iaido clubs throughout Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, and Alaska. The PNKF is an official affiliated member of the All United States Kendo Federation (AUSKF) and International Kendo Federation (IKF).

Kendo World is a combination of three types of media devoted to the art of Japanese sword fencing (kendo), and the dissemination of its vast practical, philosophical and historical aspects to the non-Japanese speaking kendo community. Kendo World provides the only English-language journal devoted to kendo.
